Sunday School begins successfully with activities on Rally Day
Rally Day was a huge success.
The nursery and the K-1 grade classes met in the nursery area and listened as someone read to them about being a good helper.
The second- through sixth-grade classes played a game focused on trusting one another. They were then divided into two groups and were challenged to build a tower using marshmallows and Popsicle sticks. We finished up by talking about trusting in God to help show us the way.
Thanks to all who helped out. We are off to a good start.
Children of all ages took part in Rally Day, which included a lesson from Rev. Shedwick.

Sunday School finishes three blankets for Project Linus
On Sunday, Nov. 12, the kindergarten through sixth grades participated in a morning of service projects during Sunday School. They helped complete three fleece blankets to be given to Project Linus, an organization that provides blankets to comfort adults and children.
After the students completed the blankets, we sat around and discussed Veterans Day.  We asked them: What is a veteran? Do we know any veterans? We will all try and remember to thank a veteran for his or her service to our country.
We then spoke about Thanksgiving and the many things and the many people who have touched our lives. We are thankful for all of them..
Our next activity will be our Advent program on Dec. 3.
